We were a small investor in 2006 in a large scale Real Estate project in Krakow with over 450 apartments. The project ran through difficulties in 2008 as financing dried up and our lender bank called in the loan for the land. We refinanced the project together with new partners, acquiring shares of investors who wanted to cut their losses and exit. We acquired some neighbouring plots at fire sale prices. The project was developed through 2015-2018 with a return of 3x capital.
